Well, we cannot boast “yet” that Zazubean is a womyn cooperative. Cacao does not grow in cold Canada, Ehe!!! It is, however, the first fair trade womyn owned chocolate company and we are pretty proud of that. These ladies are out of Vancouver, British Columbia and a pretty funky group at that. Ladies do we know our chocolate or what? This is a truly superior quality chocolate.

They found this way to help them and Santropol was there to help. A delicious medium roast in beans or drip grind. Our special treat in the morning is to mix in a tablespoon of Dagoba Xocolatl.
